The Planet is one of the post WWII BR range of Star Production pond yachts.
Due to their vibrant colours the BR's are probably the most decorative and therefore the most collectable of all the Star yachts.
This particular yacht has been sailed. The paintwork is all original, red above the waterline and varnish below. Overall the hull is in good order but the paintwork at the bow and on the ballast has been "touched up". The Planet transfers are perfect.  
The deck has original varnish and fittings. It is in very good condition with just a couple of marks  around the deck edge. The deck transfer is perfect.   
The rig has been replaced. The sails are in good condition with just a couple of stains and some foxing. There are no holes or tears.
All large Stars are now very collectable especially this range as they are very popular with interior designers.
The stand is home made but shows the yacht very well. It is included in the sale if required.
