This 1930's Alexander has the long keel bread and butter hull. She has been varnished from new and the ballast and rudder painted red.

This yacht has been sailed so there are a few marks and stains on the hull. It appears that she may have been overvarnished at some point perhaps to protect her when sailing. The ballast may also have been repainted and is now flaking.

The deck varnish is original. The toerail/edge of deck has been painted and overvarnished. Again I would suggest as protection. All the deck fittings are original and she has lovely faux cabin top and hatchway.

She is fitted with the original tiller and steering gear.

The mast and boom are original but the bowsprit and jib boom have been replaced. Not unusual for a yacht which has been sailed. Most of the rigging has been renewed. The sails are in good condition with just one small repair on the mainsail. However, as you can see in the photographs there are some extensive water stains.

The stand is also prewar and is included in the sale if required.

Whichever design Alexander use you are guaranteed a wonderful hull shape.

A beautiful yacht with plenty of character
