This large decorative pond yacht was sold by Bassett-Lowke in the 1930's.

In the photograph of the interior of the High Holborn shop in 1932 there is one of this model in the foreground.

Although she has been sailed she is in stunning condition for her age.

She has her original green paintwork above the waterline with a gold coachline and cream below. The paintwork is in very good condition with just a few marks on the bow and the keel and a little crazing.

The hardwood deck is mahogany and has its original varnish with plank lines cut into it. It has a lovely colour. There is a circular hatch with a cork insert.

She is fitted with a "swinging door" rudder.

The rig is in very good order. The sails are original with a few stains but no holes or tears. Some of the rigging has been renewed but all the hooks and bowsies appear original.

Please have a good look at the photos regarding the wonderful condition.

It is rare to find a large Bassett-Lowke in such original condition.

She is exceptionally collectable.

The stand may be later than the yacht but is included in the sale.
