This yacht is from a range sold by Gamages of Holborn during the 1930's.

The paintwork is distinctive with black above the waterline and varnish below. They were sold in a number of sizes and this yacht is one of the larger ones.

This particular yacht has been sailed but nontheless is in very good condition. The paintwork is all original but has a few marks and chips from sailing.

The deck is heavily varnished and has a lovely upstand at the stern. The toerails and all the deck fittings are original. The jib sheet horse is broken but has not been replaced as it is original and more than adequate for display.

All the spars are original as are the fittings. However, the rigging has been renewed.

The sails are in good order but have some stains and mildew marks. There is a repair at the head of the mainsail.

The stand is homemade and not as old as the yacht but is included in the sale if required.

This is a very collectable period pond yacht.
