This prewar pond yacht was sold by Gamages and benefits from being totally original.

The hull is hollowed pine with a separate hardwood deck. It is fitted with a wood and lead rudder and lead ballast. There is some cracking in the paint at the top of the keel but the keel itself is secure.

The paintwork is original and, although it has started to fade slightly on the starboard side, is in really good condition for its age. The deck has its original varnish which has started to crackle in places. There is the characteristic Gamages faux hatchcover in the middle of the deck. The rig is original and in wonderful condition. The sails still have the thin blue striping and apart from some staining and one small rust hole are terrific for their age. All the hooks, bowsies, and spars are original.

This design is one of the prettiest of Gamages ranges and it is very unusual to find one in such original condition.

A very pretty and collectable yacht.

The stand is included in the sale if required.
