This pond yacht is one of a range of yachts made for Hamleys in the 1930's. They were produced in a variety of sizes of which this is the largest and therefore the rarest. They were named after famous racing yachts of that era such as Britannia, White Heather, Alexandra, and Reliance.

She has her original black paintwork above the waterline and maroon below. The deck has its original varnish with plank lines. .

This yacht has been sailed so there are marks both on the hull and the deck. Please have a good look at the photos as they give a good indication of the condition. We have more photos available if you require.

Although she has been sailed it is astonishing that all the fittings sails, spars etc are original.

The sails are in good order but have a number of small holes and some staining.

Over the years most of the rigging has probably been renewed but the bowsies, hooks etc are all original.

This exceptionally rare yacht is very decorative example from the heyday of pond yachts.

Reliance is considerably larger than the majority of the yachts we offer. It will be difficult to pack her to our usual standard for couriers and therefore collection or personal delivery would appear to be a much better option.

If you would like to discuss delivery options please get in touch.
