This pond yacht is called "Coral" and is styled on a trading schooner.

She appears to have been carved from solid with a separate hardwood deck. She has a long keel with fitted lead ballast.

The style and construction suggests she was made at the end of the 19th or beginning of the 20th century.

The paintwork is original black and salmon but is dull and discoloured in places and has some marks. The deck is varnished and has a lovely colour with drawn planklines. There are a number of faux cabin tops which are original

The deck fittings are all present and in good order.

The rig is also original but does require attention. The spars are original although the foremast has been damaged at the tip.

The sails are in good order for their age apart from a tear to the mainsail.

Please note :  the yacht has been rigged simply so she could be photographed. All the rigging will need to be sorted and renewed.

The stand is quite distressed but is included in the sale if required.

Pond yachts of this design and age are very rare now so the survivors are very collectable.

If you would like further photos please do not hesitate to ask.
