Day & Son were Lithographers to Queen Victoria.

Both the lithographs are the same size but do not show any sign of binding so we assume they were part of a reference collection.

One shows line drawings of two schooner rigged yachts. The other shows line drawings of one schooner and three triple masted steam yachts. The latter has the sails tinted in cream.

As you can see in the photos both lithographs have some damage to the edges. However, they were produced on heavy paper and have plenty of areas which can be trimmed without losing any content.

They are of high quality and framed they will look wonderful.

2 Large Lithographs of Yachts and steam ships by Day & Son dated 1864-£195

SKU: Eph126
  • Dimensions: The two lithographs are both 20 by 27.25 inches. The actual line drawings of the yachts vary between 9 and 12 inches long and 4.5 and 7 inches high
