Ailsa yachts were made in Largs, Scotland for many years both before and after the Second World War. This model is made of aluminium so is a post war example.

The hull paintwork is very striking in original black  with a gold coachline and turquoise below the waterline.

This yacht has been sailed but the hull is in good condition with just a few marks and some paint loss on the keel and ballast. There are also marks below the waterline showing the undercoat.

The wooden deck is in good condition with its original varnished finish. There are a few marks on the deck edge from sailing. There is also a scratch on the fore deck.

The deck fittings and name plaque are original.

The sails are original cotton and in really good order with just a few stains. All the rigging, bowsies and hooks are original.

The colour scheme is one of the more unusual produced by Ailsa which makes this yacht very decorative.

The stand is homemade and has a few marks but as it shows the yacht very well it is included in the sale.
