Ailsa yachts were made in Largs, Scotland for many years both before and after the Second World War. This model is made of aluminium.

The hull paintwork is original red  with a gold coachline with yellow below the waterline.

The yacht has been sailed but is in good condition with just a few marks and some paint loss on the ballast. The wooden deck is in good condition with its original varnished finish. There are a few marks on the deck edge from sailing.

The deck fittings and name plaque are original.

The sails are cotton with a lovely blue stripe. They are generally in good order although there is a tear at the head of the mainsail which has been repaired. There are also two small holes. Please have a look at the appropriate photograph.

Much of the rigging has been renewed.

The stand is homemade but shows the yacht very well. It is included in the sale if required.

Ailsa yachts are very pretty decorative yachts. This particular yacht is offered at a price commensurate with its condition.
