This yacht is from a range made by Games Industries of London in the 1950's and sold under the name of Albatross.
They were marketed as racing yachts and were equipped with braine automatic steering.
This particular yacht has been sailed but is still in very good order.
The hull has its original paintwork of blue with a black coachline. There are one or two marks from sailing but overall the hull is in very good condition.
The deck is the original plywood and all its fittings are original. There are a couple of repairs but one was in the plywood before the yacht was made. The manufacturers plaque is complete.
The rig is in good order although it appears that one section of the mast and the boom have been replaced. The rigging has also been renewed.
The sails are original and in good order with no holes or tears. However, there is some staining and a couple of marks on the jib.
Due to their vibrant hull and sail colours Albatross yachts are very popular with interior designers.
The stand is included in the sale if required
