This is a wonderful example of a 26 inch Alexander which is in such good condition she can only have been sailed once or twice.
The hull is in really good condition with its original varnish and a gold coachline. The varnish is in very good order with only a few marks.
The deck also has its original varnish with black plank lines. All the deck fittings, including the Braine steering, sheet horse and mast step are original and in good condition.
The sails are in very good condition for their age. There are a few stains but no holes or tears. The tape at the tack of the mainsail has a little wear.
The spars are all original as are all the hooks and bowsies.
The stand has been made to a high standard in mahoghany but may not be as old as the yacht. It is included in the sale if required.
This Alexander is in remarkable condition considering her age. If you are looking for an Alexander for display then she may well be the one for you.
Alexanders are now very collectable and in this condition very hard to find.
