This yacht was made by Alexander of Preston. She appears to have been produced for racing and she has been sailed extensively. The sails have been reinforced with extra stitching, larger cringles have been fitted, and non stretch lines have been fitted to the steering.  She appears to have been sailed with a spinnaker at some point.

The paintwork is lovely with original cream with blue below the waterline. Considering the sailing the hull is in really good order. There is a mark on the port side and a few paint chips on the deck edge. There is a little paint loss at the bow and on the bottom of the keel. Please have a good look at the photos as they are a good guide to the overall condition.

All the deck fittings are original including the sheet horses and the braine steering.

The rig is in good order. All the hooks and bowsies are original.

The sails are in good overall condition. There is one small tear in the mainsail and some staining. It is likely that the rigging has been replaced at some point.

The stand is not original but it was made for her and is included in the sale if required.

She has the wonderful "wineglass" hull shape that Alexander & Sons were famous for and which today makes them the most sought after of collectors yachts.
