This Alexander pond yacht "White Foam" has a different hull shape to the models they made for Bassett Lowke, Hamleys etc.

Dating from the 1930's she has a longer keel, a longer bow section and shallower draft. In many ways she is similar to another rare classic yacht of that period Star Productions Racing Special.

The hull is in good condition with just a little damage at the bow and at the stern. She was obviously sailed and although the paintwork of cream and green is original it is in poor condition.  In places it appears that the hull has been rubbed down.

The deck is in good order but will need a good clean and varnish. The lovely toerails are complete. The braine steering is present as is the wonderful skylight which was fitted to many of these yachts. However, the sheet horses are missing.

Obviously she will need a new rig but as Alexanders become more difficult to find and their values increase it is a restoration worth doing.
