This very attractive pond yacht was made by Alexander of Preston. 
Not unusually for an Alexander she has been sailed extensively.
In recent years she has been sailed using a suit of modern sails which are included in the sale if required. (It must be stressed that these sails are not professional, they are home made).
This probably explains why the original sails are in such good condition.
All of the deck fittings are present and original including the sheet horses and the braine steering. 
The spars are original, alloy, and painted cream.
Because of the amount of sailing she has done all the paintwork and deck varnish has been renewed over the years. Probably more than once.  There is some paint loss on the keel and at the stern.  
All the hooks and bowsies are original but all of the rigging has been renewed.
The stand is not original and is included in the sale if required.
She is a beautiful yacht with the wonderful quality hull shape you expect from Alexander and sons.
