This very attractive pond yacht was made by Alexander of Preston in the 1930's.

She is called White Spray and has a slightly fuller hull shape and longer keel than the relatively more common Alexander fin and skeg design.

The paintwork is original cream with a large red coachline. The lovely White Spray motifs are present and correct.

There are some marks from sailing but overall she is in very good order.

The deck is also in good condition with the original varnish and original fittings. She has  mahogany toerails and a lovely faux cabin top.

The rig is in really good condition. However, the yacht has been set up for racing with calibrated booms and an adjustable bowsprit. It is difficult to know whether  these changes were made when the yacht was purchased new or later.

Please have a close look at the photos and if you require anything further get in touch and we can provide close ups.

The sails are in good condition. There is a repair on the jib clew and there are a few stains. The mast and bowsprit are alloy and all the hooks and bowsies are original Alexander. Much of the rigging has been renewed.

Overall this yacht is in great condition for her age and is full of character. Alexanders have become the most difficult of classic yachts to find so they are extremely collectable.
