This yacht is one of the post war SB "Super Bermuden" range of yachts. She is 27 inches long and is called Baltic Star. She has the transom shaped hull which indicates she was made in the 1970/80's.

The hull has its original paintwork with the ballast and rubbing strake picked out in orange. There are a few marks which suggest that she has been sailed at some point. However, she has also been displayed in a window which has caused the orange paintwork to fade slightly.  Overall she is in very good order as are the Baltic Star transfers.

The deck has all original fittings and the varnish is original but there are a few areas, most notably around the shrouds, where the varnish has cracked and worn. The deck transfer is complete and original with just one small mark.

The rig is all original and the sails are in very good condition indeed with just a few stains. There are no holes or tears. The rigging, spars, bowsies and hooks are all original. The mainsail stamp is fine although it has faded slightly. There appear to be a couple of small cracks at the top of the mainmast. However, they have been repaired and are solid. If it is intended to sail this yacht then replacing the mast should be considered.

Baltic Stars are quite rare now and are not normally in such good condition.

She is a very collectable yacht.

The stand is homemade and not as old as the yacht but is included in the sale if required.
