This Alexander yacht was sold by Bassett-Lowke as a R2 White Heather. Like many Alexanders she has been sailed extensively and is now in need of some attention.
The hull is in good order but the varnish and paintwork would benefit from refurbishment. There is some paint loss below the waterline and the varnish has some blemishes.
The deck is in good condition but the varnish has faded and is now very dull. There are also some pale patches. All the deck fittings are original.
Considering how much sailing she must have done the rig is in very good order and is totally original. The sails are very good indeed with no holes or tears and barely a stain.
She benefits from having her original box, although it does have some damage to the lid.
This Alexander is in good enough condition to be displayed but would improve with some cosmetic care. Please look at the photos as they give a very good idea of the overall condition.
The stand is not original but is included in the sale if required.
