Clyde Craft Ltd produced "Minature Racing Yachts" during the 1950's and 60's in Busby Glasgow.
Little is known of the company and it appears that not many of their yachts have survived to the present day. In 15 years of buying and selling pond yachts this is only the third complete yacht we have been able to offer.
The hull shape is outstanding, with a lovely sheer, and rivals Alexander for the standard of construction.
One of their yachts called "Jubilee" was supplied to the late Queen Elizabeth.
At some point this particular yacht has been restored. The paintwork is in good condition with just a few marks mainly on the deck edge. The deck has been overvarnished which has led to some varnish runs on the topsides. The Clyde Craft "signature" and the faux hatch are present and correct.
The spars are original. The sails are original and in good order with no holes or tears but are quite stained with some foxing.
The yacht can be supplied with PDF copies of the Clyde Craft brochure, price list and sailing instructions if required.
