This Steam Launch was produced in the early 1930's by Hobbies Bowman from a design by Geoffrey Jenkins.

She is one of a range of steam, electric, and rubber band launches they sold during that period.

She is in great condition for her age with cream topsides and red below the waterline. The paintwork is all original and the Hobbies Bowman transfer is perfect.

The foredeck cowling is original but the paintwork is flaking and will require attention. This is not unusual for these models.

There is also a couple of areas of paint loss on the chine of the hull.

She has her original propellor shaft and rudder/tiller.

The steam plant appears to be complete but please be aware that this launch is being sold as a decorative item. We do not guarantee that the plant is complete or working. It has not been tested.

It still has its original burner and filling funnel.

The launch is in such good condition because it has been stored throughout its life in its original wooden box.

Geoffrey Jenkins is rightly known for the excellence of his designs and his steam launches are now very collectable indeed.
