This yacht was made by Alexander of Preston and not unusually for these yachts she has been sailed extensively.
She has her original paintwork of cream topsides and green below the waterline.
The paintwork is distressed most notably on the ballast and along the hull deck joint.
The deck is painted in cream with a kingplank and planks drawn in black. The toerails are mahogany and original. There are marks on the deck but all the fittings are original.
The sails are in good order with no holes or tears but they do have some staining. They appear to have been waterproofed from new which has protected them.
The spars are alloy and original. They are painted green to match the hull. However, they have many paint chips. Much of the rigging and some bowsies have been renewed.
Please have a good look at the photos as they give a good indication of the overall condition.
This is a very striking and attractive yacht by one of the foremost pond yacht manufacturers.
Although the stand is in the style of those made by Alexander it appears to be homemade. It is included in the sale.
