This model ship was made by Peter Charlton in the 1990's.

She is a 1/24 scale replica of the last remaining RN pinnace number 198. (Online she is listed as number 199).

She was exhibited at Olympia in the 1998 International Model Show where she won a Very Highly Commended Award.

We assume at that time she was a static model. Since then she has been converted to a pond yacht complete with an electric motor and some radio control equipment.

We are not experts in this field so none of this equipment has been tested.

The hull is constructed in plank on frame and is in good condition.

She could be displayed or, with some restoration, she could be returned to sailing condition.

Please have a good look at the photos to get a good idea of the condition. If you require further photos please do not hesitate to ask.

The hull is structurally good with a separate deck and superstructure. All the superstructure is removable.

There are some wonderful deck fittings which give the ship such a historic air.

This is not the usual pond yacht that we offer. However, the quality is such that we could not resist the opportunity.

The certificates from Olympia and other documents regarding the original ship are included in the sale

The stand is a cradle constructed for the pond side so she would greatly benefit from a new display stand.

This a very unusual opportunity, whether used for display or sailing, this ship has a wonderful presence.
