This Alexander pond yacht was actually sold by Alexanders of Preston. Unusually she has the JA transfer on the deck just aft of the mast.
She has the hull shape which suggests she was an early model, probably dating from the 1930's.
Overall the hull is in good condition but the paintwork is not original and, in our opinion, requires a full repaint. The marks on the topsides which are visible in the photos is not a crack but the remains of a gold coachline.
The deck has its original varnish and has a lovely colour. There are one or two marks but overall it is in good order. The toerail is original and complete.
All of the deck fittings are present and original including the sheet horses and the braine steering.
She will need a complete new rig. Dimensions for the sails can be provided.
If you would like further photos of particular areas of the yacht please do not hesitate to ask.
Alexanders of this size are becoming very difficult to find so a restoration would be very worthwhile.
PLEASE NOTE..........1) The stand is not included.
2) There is an Alexander mast and main boom available if required.
