The Star Meteorite is one of the 3 post war BR range of yachts.
In our experience the Meteorite is the rarest of the range. It is difficult to understand why this should be as the colour scheme is, in our opinion, outstanding. However, this is only the sixth example that we have been able to offer for sale in 15 years of buying and selling Star pond yachts. In the same period we have sold many examples of the red and green Planets and Comets.
The original black paintwork and yellow varnish are in perfect condition. The Meteorite transfers on the bow are also perfect.
The deck is in "as new"condition with its original varnish and fittings. The deck transfer is perfect 
The rig is totally original and the sails are in outstanding condition with no stains or fading. The mainsail stamp is present and correct. 
This yacht is as it was as it left the factory and is therefore an extremely rare opportunity for the Star collector.
