This distressed but very decorative pond yacht was probably home made sometime around the beginning of the 20th century.
She has been carved from solid to the design of a river or broads yacht. She has a bar keel with lead ballast.
The paintwork, of black with green below the waterline, appears original. She has Semper Eadem and scroll work hand painted in gold on the topsides.
The deck has plank lines cut into it and there is a lovely cabin top superstructure with a faux cockpit and companionway.
The mast foot allows the mast to be lowered for the yacht to go under bridges very necessary if sailing on rivers or broads.
The sails are in good order with just one small hole in the mainsail.
Please have a good look at the photos as this very pretty yacht is in lovely but distressed condition.
The stand is oak but not original. It is included in the sale if required.
