This wonderful gaff rigged pond yacht dates from the first decades of the twentieth century .

She has a beautiful long keel "wineglass" shaped hull with a nice sheer line. The hull has been carved from solid pitch pine with a separate deck

There is cream paintwork above the waterline and green below. This yacht has been sailed so she is distressed especially on the topsides. The rudder is a swinging door design with a lead insert.

The deck is mahogany and has  a wonderful colour. All the deck fittings are original.

Even more remarkable is that the sails are original. There are 2 foresails, a gaff mailsail, and a topsail.  They are discoloured with some staining. There are a couple of small holes and there is a repair on the luff of the mainsail. The spars  appear to be original although the bowsprit may have been repaired.

She is a very pretty yacht from the great era of pond yachts.

The stand is mahogany and is probably not as old as the yacht. It is included in the sale if required as it shows the yacht exceptionally well.
