This pretty pond yacht was made to a very high standard indeed.

The hull was carved from solid, hollowed, painted, and fitted with a hardwood deck. Together with the hull design this suggests she was made in the 1920's or perhaps a little later.

The deck has planklines and all the fittings are original. There is a lovely mahogany toerail with scuttles and brass protection at the bow and on the upstand at the stern.

The hull has its original paintwork. There is some paint loss on the keel but otherwise she is in wonderful condition for her age.

She is fitted with a "swinging door" rudder which has a safety chain fitted.

The rig comprises of four sails including a topsail and a flying jib. The sails are original but are starting to show their age. There are a few small holes and there is a tear in the mainsail. The jib has been repaired at the tack. All the hooks and bowsies are original but most of the rigging has been renewed over time.

The quality of this yacht is apparent in the brass fittings which are wonderful. There is a cabin top with brass and copper bars. The hatch has brass clips which allow the top to be removed. There are 2 small original sponges attached to the underside.

The stand is made of oak but is unlikely to be as old as the yacht. However, it displays the yacht well and is included in the sale if required.

This top class yacht is a very decorative example from the heyday of pond yachts.
