This Alexander is totally original and is offered with its original stand and box.
The colour scheme is cream above the waterline and green below.
Overall the condition of the hull is very good indeed. The paintwork is very good with just an area of paintloss on the starboard side and another on the transom.
The deck benefits from having its original varnish with black coachlines. There is an Alexander & Sons transfer just aft of the mast. All the deck fittings are original and in good condition.
The spars, hooks, bowsies, and the sails are all original and in very good condition. The spars are painted cream matching the hull. The sails are in generally good order for their age but there is a small tear in the mainsail.
Alexanders sold their yachts themselves but also through stores such as Bassett-Lowke, Hamleys and Gamages. This yacht was originally sold by Hamleys.
The stand and the box are both original. The box however has been repaired and although it has its original Hamleys tape it is a little delicate.
This Alexander is a very pretty example in great condition for her age.
