This Alexander Of Preston pond yacht was sold by Hamleys of London.
She has the hull shape and braine steering which suggests she was an early model, probably dating from the first few years of the 1930's.
Overall the hull is in very good condition but has been stripped and would benefit from being repainted or revarnished. The toerail has been replaced.
The deck has its original paintwork but also has some marks.
Most of the deck fittings are present and original including the sheet horses and the braine steering. The Hamleys plaque is in good order.
There is no rig but photos and dimensions can be supplied.
If you would like further photos of particular areas of the yacht please do not hesitate to ask.
Alexanders of this size are becoming very difficult to find so a restoration would be very worthwhile.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE STAND IS NOT INCLUDED
