Hobbies-Bowman produced the Aeroboat I in the early 1930's alongside their steam and clockwork powered launches.
This particular launch is remarkable as it is still in its original wooden box and as a consequence she is in wonderful condition for her age. It appears unlikely that she has ever been sailed.
The paintwork is original with just some crazing and a small amount of paint loss at the bow and at the stern. The Hobbies-Bowman transfer on the deck is in very good order.
The metal hatches are in very good condition and the drive train is conplete and moves freely. The drive band has perished but remains inside the hull.
The rudder, propellor, and its protector are all original.
The box is original with the Bowman logo and description on each end. 
This is an incredible opportunity as the launches are very rare, this is only the third launch we have been able to offer in 6 years, and to find one in its original box is very special indeed.
