It is extremely unusual to find a large 1930's Star in such original condition.

Having said that she has been sailed and should be described as distressed.

The hull is in good order but the original paintwork and varnish has numerous marks and scratches. It appears that below the waterline she has been overvarnished which is not unusual in yachts which have been sailed extensively.

The rig is all original. The sails are in amazing condition for their age. There is a small tear in the jib and a few pinholes in the main. It is likely that the rigging will have been renewed over the years but all the hooks and bowsies are original.

These early models have a wonderful hull shape which, to a degree, we feel was lost in the post war yachts.

This is a rare and great opportunity for the collector.

The stand is included in the sale.
