This stunning 19th century pond yacht was called a Fore and Aft Schooner and was sold by Steven's Model Dockyard.

The masts and spars are currently rigged for display and she is in a condition which would justify future display. However, she could also benefit from a partial restoration.

She was carved from solid with a separate hardwood deck. The deck is plank lined, and many of the fittings, such as cleats and pin rails, are original. She has a long keel with fitted lead ballast. The rudder and tiller are brass.

The hull is in good order and the paintwork, although a little dull, is original.

The stand is mahogany and shows the yacht beautifully. It is included in the sale.

Pond yachts of this design and age are very rare now, especially those made by Stevens Model Dockyard.

So the survivors are very collectable indeed.

Please have a good look at the photos as they give a good guide to the overall condition.

If you would like further photos please do not hesitate to ask.
