This yacht "White Elf" is one of the rarer models made by Alexander of Preston. She appears to have been produced for racing and certainly this particular yacht has been sailed extensively.

The paintwork is white with green striping. Unusually the deck is also painted white. The paintwork is all original but due to the amount of sailing this yacht has done there are numerous marks both on the hull and on the deck. Please have a good look at the photos as they are a good guide to the overall condition.

The hull was built using the bread and butter method and under the stern there is a crack between two of the "slices". The joint is secure , there is no movement. There are a couple of hairline cracks on the trailing edge of the keel but these appear to be in the paint as, again, there is no movement.

The White Elf transfers are in good order.

All the deck fittings are original including the sheet horses and the braine steering.

The rig is in good order bearing in mind how much sailing this yacht has done. However, the spars have been replaced. All the hooks and bowsies are original.

The sails are in good overall condition. There is one small tear in the mainsail and a couple of stains. All the cringles have been replaced at some point. This appears to have been done when the originals have pulled out when sailing.

All the rigging appears to have been replaced at some point.

This is a rare Alexander and therefore she is a highly collectable yacht.

The stand is in the style of Alexander but is not original. It is included in the sale if required.
