The Planet is one of the post WWII BR range of Star Production pond yachts.
Due to their vibrant colours the BR's are probably the most decorative and therefore the most collectable of all the Star yachts.
This particular yacht has been fully restored to full sailing condition.
The paintwork is as it would have been originally, red above the waterline and varnish below.  
The deck is beautifully varnished with all brass fittings.
All the Star transfers have been replaced with new.
The sails have been made in modern material to a standard superior to originals. All the rig fittings are brass. 
All large Stars are now very collectable especially this range as they are very popular with interior designers.
Ideal as a gift especially if the recipient would like to sail her. 
The stand was made by the restorer and is included in the sale.
