The Arctic Star is one of the SB (Special Bermuden) range of Star Production pond yachts. This was the premier range of post war Star yachts as the models were fitted with an automatic steering system.
This particular yacht has the square transom and blue sails indicative of a late production model.
She has never been sailed and consequently is in superb condition.  The paintwork is all original and the keel, rudder, and rubbing strake are picked out in blue to match the sails. The bow and deck transfers are all perfect.
The deck has its original varnish and does not have a mark on it. All the deck fittings are original and in great condition.
The rig is all original with all the hooks and bowsies you would expect. The sails have one or two very faint marks but are basically as they were when they came out of the factory. The mainsail stamp is perfect.
The stand is not original but is included in the sale if required. 
All the larger Stars are becoming very difficult to find and therefore are more collectable as time goes on.
One in such wonderful condition is especially rare.
