The Pacific Star is one of the Super Bermudan range of post Second World War yachts fitted with their own self steering . With its square transom and blue sail tape, this particular yacht dates from the 1980's.

She appears to have been sailed as there is a some paint loss on the ballast and on the bow. However, it can only have been a couple of times as she is in such good original condition.

The paintwork is in really good order with a few chips and scratches. The rubbing strake, rudder and ballast are picked out in blue, which is the most popular colour in this range. The Pacific Star transfers are perfect.

The deck is in great condition with original varnish and a Star transfer.  There is one small mark just forward of the mast. The deck fittings are all original and the self steering system is all present and working.

The rig is totally original. The sails are in good condition with no holes or tears. We would suggest that she has been displayed by a window for many years as the blue sails have faded. All the spars, hooks and bowsies are original.

The stand is not as old as the yacht and is probably home made.

The larger Star yachts are now very collectable and this Pacific Star is no exception. It is becoming more and more difficult to find them in original condition.
