The Pacific Star is one of the Super Bermuda range of post Second World War yachts.

This particular yacht is one of the early models dating from the 1950's. She has been sailed extensively but in spite of this she is a very original example.

The hull is in good order and has its original paintwork. However, it does have quite a few marks from sailing especially on the bow and on the leading edge of the keel. The transfers and the rubbing strake have been protected by an extra coat of varnish but it has run onto the paintwork.

The deck is original as are all the fittings. There are a few marks but the deck transfer is complete.

The rig, sails, spars, bowsies and hooks are all original. The sails are in very good condition considering that this yacht has been sailed. There are a couple of pinprick holes on the mainsail and one cringle is missing. There are a few waterstains on both the sails and on the spars. Some of the rigging has been renewed.

The stand is original and is included in the sale. However, please be aware that it has woodworm. It has been treated over a period of 2 months with no sign of fresh activity.

This Pacific Star has a lovely "as sailed" patina.
