The Pacific Star is one the Super Bermuda range of post Second World War yachts. With its square transom this particular yacht is one of the later models.
She has not been sailed and has been stored in her original box from new. Consequently she is in really good condition for her age. The paintwork is almost like new, with just 3 small paint chips. The Pacific Star transfers are perfect. There is some paint loss on the ballast.
The deck has its original varnish and is in perfect condition. The deck fittings are all original and the transfer is perfect. The self steering system is all present and correct.
The rig is totally original. The sails are as they came out of the factory. All the spars, hooks and bowsies are original and in perfect order.
The box is original with Star Production tape and an SB2 sticker on one end. It is a little worn and scruffy, although it is complete.
Unsailed examples of the larger Star models are becoming increasingly difficult to find and are consequently becoming more and more collectable.
