The Planet is one of the post WWII BR range of Star Production pond yachts.
This particular yacht has the square transom which suggests she is a late example, dating from the 1980's. 
The paintwork is all original, red above the waterline and varnish below. 
The hull is in very good condition which suggests that it is unlikely she has been sailed.  The paintwork on the ballast appears to have been touched up. 
The deck has original varnish and fittings. The deck is in very good condition and a lovely colour. The deck transfer is perfect.   
The sails are original and in really good condition for their age. There is a little foxing and a couple of small stains but no holes or tears. It appears that the sails were originally yellow but have faded a little over the years. All the spars, hooks, and bowsies are original.
All large Stars are now very collectable especially this range as they are very popular with interior designers.
The matching stand is original and included in the sale.
