The Planet is one of the post WWII BR range of Star Production pond yachts.
This particular yacht has the square transom which suggests she is a late example, dating from the 1980's. 
It is unusual to be able to describe a Star Productions yacht as mint but if you were still able to purchase direct from the factory this yacht is what you would expect to receive.
The paintwork is all original, red above the waterline and varnish below. 
The hull condition is such that it is highly likely she has never been sailed. 
The deck has original varnish and fittings. The deck is in perfect condition and a lovely colour. The deck and hull transfers are also perfect.   
The sails are original and basically as new. but no holes or tears.  All the spars, hooks, and bowsies are original.

All large Stars are now very collectable, especially in this condition and in an original box.
The matching stand is original and included in the sale.
The box is original but is a little scruffy.
