The Planet is one of the post WWII BR range of Star Production pond yachts.
Due to their vibrant colours the BR's are probably the most decorative and therefore the most collectable of all the Star yachts.
On this particular yacht the paintwork is all original, red above the waterline and varnish below. She appears never to have been sailed but there are some storage marks on the hull.
The deck is in wonderful condition with original varnish and fittings. The bow and deck transfers are perfect. The mast step has been repaired at some point.
The sails are original and basically as new. There are no holes or tears. All the cringles are perfect.
All the spars, hooks and bowsies are original.
All large Stars are now very collectable especially this range as they are very popular with interior designers.
Consequently they are now very difficult to find especially in this condition. 
She also benifits from having her original stand which is included in the sale.
