This Star Productions Southern Star  was purchased from her only owner. She was given to him as a birthday present in the late 1970's. He never sailed her as he was too concerned about losing her  and has always been stored in her original box. 
The hull and paintwork are totally original and in wonderful condition. The Southern Star transfers are perfect. 
The deck is in very good condition although there are a couple of scratches. There are also a few paint chips on the deck edge. This is not unusual on this range of Stars, even when they have not been sailed.
All the fittings are original and as new and the deck transfer is perfect.
The sails are as new. The spars and all the fittings are original. The stamp on the mainsail has not faded.
The box is in good condition with just a couple of small tears.
The yacht still has its original sailing instructions.
The larger Stars, especially ones in their original boxes, are now very collectable.
