This Star Productions Southern Star dates from the 1970's or 80's and has benefitted from having never been sailed and being stored in its original box since new. She even still has the original brown paper packing.
The hull and paintwork are totally original and in wonderful condition. The Southern Star transfers are perfect. 
The deck is in very good condition although there are 2 paint marks at the stern and a couple of paint chips on the deck edge. The paint marks appear to have been left by the manufacturer. All the fittings are original and as new and the deck transfer is perfect.
The sails have a couple of very slight stains otherwise they are as new. The spars and all the fittings are original. The stamp on the mainsail has not faded.
The box is in good condition with just a couple of marks.
The yacht still has its original sailing instructions.
The larger Stars, especially ones in their original boxes, are now very collectable.
