This lovely Star SY4 dates from around the 1960's or 1970's  and is finished in yellow and blue.
The paintwork is in really good condition but this yacht has been sailed so there are some small paint chips along the edge of the deck. There is also a small paint chip on the keel.
The sails are all original and in very good condition with no holes or tears. However, they have been stored wet at some point and have some water stains. There are a couple of small paint marks at the head of the mainsail.
All the spars, rigging and bowsies are original. The deck logo and the sail stamp are in good order.
SY4's are very collectable because they were produced in a number of colour schemes and can therefore compliment many different interior decors.
This particular yacht is a very good example in popular colours.
The stand is wooden, painted, with a Star logo but it may be reproduction. It is included in the sale if required.
