In the 1930's Triang produced a range of Coastal Steamers. They were wooden and powered by clockwork motors. They were intended to be sailed.

After the war a reduced range was produced to the same design.

Without the original decals they are difficult to date so this  particular example is more likely to have been produced in the 1930's but it is difficult to sure.

She has had quite a hard life and can be used as a display item or she could be restored. Apart from the motor and the prop shaft she is basically complete. However, the hull has deteriorated and requires some rebuilding prior to a fresh coat of paint.

If you would like further photos to better judge the amount of work required please do not hesitate to ask.
