This very attractive pond yacht was made by Alexander of Preston in 1937.

In 2003 she was restored by Russell Potts the founder and President of the Vintage Model Yacht Group.

She has been sailed since the restoration as the paintwork has been touched up on the bow and on the ballast. There are also a few marks on the paintwork.

The deck has been painted cream with a wonderful transfer giving all the details of the yacht and her restoration. The deck fittings are original apart from the aft sheet horse which is a replacement.

The rig is in really good condition. The spars are original as are the majority of the hooks and bowsies. The sails appear to be original. If not, they are very good quality replicas. They have 1 or 2 stains but otherwise are in very good order with no holes or tears.

It is evident that she was restored to be sailed and there is nothing to suggest that should not continue.

A White Elf from the 1930's is such a pretty yacht but a history such as this makes her exceptionally collectable.
