Bassett-Lowke sold the Iolanthe and Iolanthe II motor launches during the 1930's. 
This particular launch is an Iolanthe II which has a cabin top over the engine bay.
The paintwork is original and in very good condition. There are a few paint chips on the edges and corners but is in such good condition that it is difficult to imagine that she has ever been sailed. Compared to other BL launches that we have sold her condition is very good indeed.
The original Bassett-Lowke transfer on the stern is present and correct. 
She is fitted with an original BL clockwork motor and comes with a key. The motor is working. 
The prop and rudder are original.
