"Viking" is a very decorative steam driven river or harbour tug. It is difficult to know how old she is but the paintwork is all original which, with the patina, suggests pre WWII.

As you can see in the photos the steam plant is not fitted to the hull and is probably missing a few parts. We are not experts on steam engines so cannot give any guidance regarding the usability of the plant.
The overall quality of this tug suggests that it was made for one of the large London stores Gamages or Hamleys for example. Overall the paintwork is in very good order although there are a few paint chips most notably on the stern. There is also a little damage to the bulwark capping on the port side forward of the superstructure.
Viking could be used for display or could be restored to sailing condition.
The stand is not as old as the Tug but is included in the sale as it displays the ship very well.
