This Star Productions yacht was made in the 1930's and sold as one of the range of "solid yachts".
The hull is pitch pine and in good order with a lovely hull shape. She has her original green/dark green paintwork which is in a wonderfully distressed condition. The deck fittings are all original including the iconic brass badge.
The keel has lost some paint and has areas of rust.
It appears that at some point the rig has been replaced. However, it was done some time ago as the sails are Egyptian cotton and stained. There is one very small hole in the jib otherwise there are no holes or tears. Much of the rigging has been renewed.
The stand is not as old as the yacht but it is included in the sale if required.
In her distressed condition this yacht is so evocative of the goldern age of Star Productions.
